About Us

 

Nirmalnagar Prantik Samaj Unnayan samity (NPSUS) registered as a Society (social Development organization) under West Bengal Society Registration act. 1961. Established in West Bengal 2007, NPSUS was pioneered by a group of young professionals, all of whom were inspired by the conviction that individuals with knowledge resources and empathy for the marginalized must work with communities at the grassroots in order to help them overcome poverty.

 

NPSUS is a Non- govt. Social Development Organization working in the field of Rural development for the poor people. Community development and also poverty alleviation is the main focus of our organization. NPSUS is a multi service NGO having under taken interventions in the field of primary health care, education, Child Rights issues, Mother& Child care, Control of TB&HIV. Al though NPSUS is basically based on the main principle of causing socio- economic empowerment of the poor.

Mission:

The organization, through its activities for sustainable development, would aspire to become a value based organization, a good service provider to the community members at its operational area mostly inhabitant by the poor and marginalized section of population by organizing the people for united effort to achieve assured livelihood security by harnessing local and natural resource development

Operational Area:

 

All over Nadia District. We have already worked in Krishnagar-I , krishnagar-II, Nakashipara, Kaliganj,Karimpur – I &II and tehatta-I Block.

 Ongoing Project:

 

A)     Orphanage Home for Boys: Government registration is now under process. Here we try to our best level of orphanage boys and try to provide their Child Rights Issues.

 

B)     Rogi Sahayata Kendra:  We run Rogi Sahayata Kendra at Assannagar Public Health Centre, Assannagar ,Nadia.  Gudied by Government of West Bengal, it is a project of National Health urban Mission, Govt. Of India.

 

C)     Minority Education:  we engage in Minority education under Nadia district minority office Affairs, Government of West Bengal. We run two minority hostels one is Nakashipara Block and other is Krishnagar –II Block of Nadia District. We try to do our best for minority girls students; we provide here education, nutrition and sanitation. It is also in residential mode.

 

 

D)     Child Rights issues:  We perform as a NODAL NGO in Nadia District about the scheme of Intrigated Child protection scheme, Government of India. We formed Block Level Child Protection Committee, Village Level Child protection committee; word Level Child Protection Committee in all over Nadia District under supervision of District Child protection Office, Nadia.

 

 

E)      Revise National Tuberculosis Control programme (RNTCP): We involve in RNTCP science 2009. At present we work in three (TB Control in urban slums, contact Tracing, sputum collection & Sputum Transportation) scheme of RNTCP in Nadia District, Government of West Bengal guided by District Tuberculosis Officer.
